ITINERARY


Arrival

Arrival in Kigali and a trusted Uganda Gorilla Trekking via Kigali driver/guide will take you to your hotel in Kigali. Accommodation in Kigali before the trip can be organised at a cost.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You will be picked up by your Uganda Gorilla Trekking via Kigali driver guide after your breakfast and head north of Kigali crossing the border to Lake Bunyonyi. The drive from Kigali to Lake Bunyonyi is very scenic with amazing picturesque. On arrival you will check into the hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

With a packed lunch and an early breakfast, your Uganda Gorilla Trekking via Kigali driver will drop you off at the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for a briefing before the hike into the jungle starts .

Gorilla Tracking time varies according to the movements of these giants it could take from 30 mins to 5hrs so we highly recommend that you are in a good physical condition to track these gorillas. After finding the gorillas, you be allowed one hour in the company of these endangered species

Day 3: Lake Bunyoynyi

Safari Boat cruise and community visit

With a late breakfast, you will go for a canoe excursion on Lake Bunyonyi where you will venture and visit the different islands found here. In the afternoon , you and the Uganda Gorilla Trekking via Kigali party will visit the communities surrounding Lake Bunyonyi and learn and venture into their ways of life and survival etiquette.

Day 4: Kigali City Tour and departure

With a late relaxed morning you will head to Rwanda in time for a City tour where we shall visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and then be dropped off at Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight back home.

End of safari

End of the Uganda Gorilla Trekking via Kigali, accommodation in Kigali after the trip can be arranged for you if staying for another night.
